Keep the test cycle attached
Our catalog records CLTC electric range as CLTC. It does not convert that number into WLTP or EPA. EPA uses laboratory procedures and adjustments for its own labels. A universal conversion multiplier is not part of this database. When comparing two cars, first check whether their quoted figures use the same cycle.
Electric range and combined range answer different questions
For a plug-in hybrid or range extender, use the electric-only field to research battery driving. The combined field includes fuel and electricity and keeps its separately reported cycle. Do not put that figure beside a BEV’s electric range as if both describe one battery charge. An empty combined-range field means the source did not establish a value.
Check the trim, then plan the journey
A model page can cover several batteries and drivetrains. Its headline maximum and its starting price may belong to different trims. Open the specification table and source passport before selecting a car. For a journey, leave room for your route, weather, charging stops and arrival reserve; a catalog maximum is not a trip guarantee.
