Account and service data
If you create an account, we process your email, securely stored password credentials, verification state and session information to provide access. Saved favorites, preferences and research history support your personal workspace. Service infrastructure may process network addresses and technical logs for delivery, security and troubleshooting. These records are separate from optional audience analytics.
Optional analytics and advertising
When configured, Google Analytics is optional and starts only after your analytics choice permits it. Use the privacy controls to decline or withdraw consent. Your choice is stored in your browser. Analytics excludes account pages and private assistant conversations. Advertising has a separate consent gate and remains inactive without approved advertising configuration. An affiliate link, if present, is labeled and sends you to the named third party only when you follow it.
AI questions and your choices
Submitting an assistant question sends its content and relevant catalog context to the configured AI service to generate a response. Do not include sensitive personal information. Providers may process information in countries other than yours. Contact support@chineseevtimes.com for access, correction or deletion requests. We assess identity and applicable retention obligations before acting; clearing browser data alone does not delete server-side account records.
