How Chinese EV Times handles evidence

Every number keeps its market, month, test cycle and source. This page explains what the dataset can—and cannot—say.

Editorial rules

  1. 01

    Sales are unit sales, never attention or enquiry scores.

  2. 02

    A series repeated across price bands is counted once per month.

  3. 03

    CLTC is a Chinese test cycle and is never relabelled as WLTP or EPA.

  4. 04

    PHEV and EREV electric-only range stays separate from combined range.

  5. 05

    Manufacturer-submitted specifications are not independent test results.

Photography is a separate evidence problem

A public image URL is not a reuse licence. Chinese EV Times only embeds a local photograph when its source, rights holder, licence, credit and vehicle identity are recorded.
